THE LIFE OF OUR STREAMS - OUR NEXT MONTHLY CLIMATE HUB EVENT – 3 SEPTEMBER 2024
Come along to our next Climate Hub Event to learn more about our local rivers and streams, and their importance as ecosystems as well as the potential flood risk they present. Everyone is welcome at this free event, where we'll hear from experts on flooding, mapping and aquatic invertebrates. Hope to see you there!

GREENER HASSOCKS & DITCHLING CLIMATE CAFE - 5 SEPTEMBER 2024
We're delighted to be holding another Climate Café at Proper Cycling & Coffee in Hassocks on Thursday 5 September 2024 from 7.30-9pm. Come along to share your thoughts, feelings and emotions around the climate and ecological crises in a safe, friendly and facilitated space. Open to anyone aged 18+.
Holding space for our feelings is incredibly important as we face the climate and nature crises. It can be a relief to talk about the things we tend to bottle up when we don’t want to burden friends and family or ‘bring the mood down’. Climate Cafés create a safe space to share thoughts that isolate us, and to strengthen community, and we look forward to more.

PARTY ON THE PATCH - 1ST ANNIVERSARY PARTY – 28 SEPTEMBER 2024
Greener Hassocks and Ditchling is hosting a party at the Hassocks Veg Patch to celebrate the 1st anniversary of our relaunch, and we'd love you to join us.
We have a fun afternoon planned with music from Poni Mitchell and Abracabadger, storytelling and activities for children, drink stalls and other refreshments/food on offer. This will also be an opportunity to find out about the wonderful things going on in our community to help tackle the climate and ecological crisis, to bring our community together, and to make our villages greener.
Saturday 28 September 2024, from 3-7pm at The Community Veg Patch (behind Age Concern in Hassocks).
Suggested donation: £5 per adult.
