FLOODS AND SuDs

Our Floods and SuDs (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems) group is working to reduce flooding in our local area through natural flood management.

​

The team works with other local organisations such as the Hassocks Community Organisation and Ouse and Adur Rivers Trust on a range of projects designed to 'Slow the Flow' and prevent flooding in Hassocks, and to monitor stream health and aquatic life in the streams running through our town.
